Key Responsibilities


  • Manage the development of new industry leading cabin product designs and reconfigurations for both production and retrofit aircraft.
  • Coordinate new cabin programmes to ensure all products are certified, produced and delivered on time, on budget and to specification.
  • Coordinate the source selection analysis process for new cabin products ensuring full compliance to all technical and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate all the major milestone meetings and provide on-site support for aircraft modification inputs.
  • Coordinate all LOPA studies and cabin reconfiguration proposals.
  • Coordinate all in-house cabin designs & modifications through Cathay Pacific HKAR-21 Design Organisation to support aircraft induction and retirement activities.
  • Coordinate all cabin tasks for all aircraft inductions and retirements.
  • Build strong working relationships with cabin suppliers and Maintenance Repair Organisations (MROs).
  • Initiate and drive cabin reliability improvements for future cabin products through structured cross-functional engagement with key stakeholders and lessons learned.
  • Perform evaluation, costing and project planning of new livery designs or one-off paint schemes.


Requirements


  • Minimum 6 years' experience in aircraft maintenance and/or engineering.
  • Degree in Engineering / Aerospace discipline.
  • Proven cabin engineering and cabin systems knowledge. Additional avionics/IFE experience will be considered a plus.
  • Proven experience in supporting, delivering cabin projects and working with cross functional teams.
  • Proven ability in supplier management and working with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Maintenance Repair Organisations (MROs).
  • Membership of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) is preferred.
  • Experience in LEAN project is preferred.
  • Design Organisation experience is preferred.
  • Strong in communication, influencing and negotations skills.
